Our SW waterfront apartments will hook you up for a night on the town.
Yep, DC is loaded with history, parks and monuments, but what about the theatre scene? Don’t be fooled into thinking DC is just a political town. We’ve got some of the best theatre in the country, all close to the Southwest DC apartments at Eliot on 4th.
In honor of our name, and the fact that season tickets usually come in packs of four, here’s Eliot on 4th’s 4 x 4 – four not-to-miss theatres, guaranteed to provide you with four magical evenings (or matinees) of productions ranging from the historical, to musicals, to cutting-edge commentary.

“Some think I do wrong to go to the opera and the theatre; but it rests me. I love to be alone, and yet to be with the people.” – Abraham Lincoln
You know the name and the prominence it plays in our nation’s history, but have you been to visit the place? In the summer, take in multiple events celebrating the life of one of our most beloved presidents, including a guided tour, one-act play and an investigation into the Lincoln assassination conspiracy.
However, that’s not all there is to do at this theatre that’s less than two miles from our Southwest apartments. Get a membership and look forward to the 2017-2018 season, featuring Death of a Salesman, A Christmas Carol, Jefferson’s Garden and The Wiz. And maybe, during intermission, let your gaze drift house right to the infamous balcony…and give a little nod of appreciation to our 16th president.
